Hello everyone, here's a glimpse at the Day Planners - all wrapped and ready to go.
When people are caring for some with short term memory loss, it can be difficult to know who has visited, if the person has eaten during the day, which medications have been administered ...
Have you called in on someone with short term memory loss to hear them say they've 'not seen anyone all day' ... or 'I've already eaten my lunch' ...? With a Day Planner, carers, nurses, family, friends, neighbours visitors, can log day-to-day activities, leave messages for each other and be assured that the person is being cared for.
As carers, we also want the person to continue enjoying everyday life ... so there are spaces on the Day Planner to make plans for activities ahead. Doing things together may help with boredom, frustrations and help maintain skills and self-esteem.
Enjoy your Happy Days,
Gillian
